I saw this video today while I was on Facebook and thought I would share this with my followers. Many people reuse and recycle materials in all different way, but when I saw this I was amazed. Prisma is a company that makes Guitars our of retired skateboards. The craftsmanship is incredible as well as the sound. What a great example of design using unlikely materials. Enjoy this video!
Nick Pourfard started Prisma Guitars based on his love for skateboarding and music. He is a 22 year old self-taught woodworker and industrial design student based out of San Francisco, CA. All guitars are built using the wood from broken and used skateboards.
